Norfolk - William H. Fields of 922 Dunbar street, died in a hospital.  A native 
of Southampton County, he was a son of the late John and Mrs. Mary Fields and 
the husband of Mrs. Annie Fields.

He worked for Old Dominion Freight Lines.

Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Miss Carolyn Fields of Norfolk;  a 
brother, John Fields of Newport News;  and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Thomas and 
Mrs. Rene Wood of Washington.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 9, at 3:30 p.m. in Graves Funeral 
Home by the Rev. C. W. Tyson.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
