Virginian-Pilot February 1, 1914
Mrs. Grace P. Fields, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at the family residence, 
413 Fenchurch street, after a lingering illness. She was a native of Portsmouth, 
but had resided in Norfolk since childhood. Mrs. Fields was the mother of Mrs. C. 
J. Jones, Miss Bessie Ballance, G. H. Ballance, T. J. Ballance and W. L. Ballance.
The funeral will be held at the residence at 4 o'clock this afternoon. Services 
will be conducted by Rev. G. W. Perryman of the First Baptist church.
