Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Mar 5, 1966
Norfolk - Mrs. Goldie Fields, 84, of 510 E. 18th St., who died Feb. 27 in a
local hospital, was given a funeral service Wednesday in First Baptist Church,
Bute Street.  The Rev. E. Paul Simms officiated.  Burial was in Calvary
Cemetery.  Arrangements were made by Morning Glory Funeral Home.

The Richmond native was the widow of John Fields and is survived by two sons,
Willie Fields of New York City and Leon Fields of Norfolk;  a niece, Mrs.
Venetia Griffin of Washington and a nephew, Milton Bass of Norfolk
