Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Jefferson Fields, 717 Appomattox Street, were
conducted December 8 at Mt. Zion  Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. R. T.
Adams officiating.

Mrs. Fields was born in Dendron, VA, and was 56 years of age.  She is survived
by nine sons, David, McKinley, Samuel, John, Thomas, James, Willie, Robert and
Charlie Fields;  one daughter, Mrs. Irene McClain;  and 24 grandchildren and 35
great grandchildren.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman’s Funeral Home in charge.
