Church, was buried in Calvary Cemetery following funeral services at the church on Sunday. Operator of Gladys Beautorium at 2216 Hodges Road in South Norfolk, Mrs. Figgs lived at 1520 Colon avenue. The Rev. M. L. Beamon delivered the eulogy for the 41 year-old Norfolk native. Pretlow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Figgs was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ishmael Barco. Survivors include her husband, Alfonso; a son, Clarence Covington of the Air Force; four brothers, William and Phillip Barco of Norfolk and Morris Barco of the Marine Corps and Solomon Barco of the Army; and four sisters, Mesdames Lydia Boone, Audrey Jackson, Eunice Custis and Lillie M. Robinson of Norfolk.
