Virginian Pilot Thursday May 13, 1909

The funeral of Clarence Files, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Files, who 
died at the home of his grandfather, Wm. McPherson, in Elizabeth street, Tuesday 
evening, will take place from the above residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock 
and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Clarence E. Files took place from the residence of his 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. McPherson, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock and was 
conducted by Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church.  The 
interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
