On September 14, 2006, God sent for one of his faithful servants, Aubrey Hudson 
Filhiol . Aubrey was born April 2, 1936 in Norfolk, Va. to the late Clarence and 
Lena Filhiol . He was a graduate of Norfolk County High School, an Army veteran, 
and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years from which he retired. All 
who knew Aubrey, knew of his love for the Lord. He was a faithful member of 
First Baptist Church, Bute Street, where he served as a Deacon, participated in 
many ministries, and attended Sunday School. He was predeased by one sister, 
Ellarene Filhiol ; and two brothers, Leroy and Clarence Filhiol . He is survived 
by his loving wife, Vivian Rawls Filhiol ; two daughters, Mia Wilson (Jason) and 
Cherri Wilson (Steve); two grandchildren, Anthony and Sophia; one brother, Jesse 
Filhiol (Marie); a host of very special nieces and nephews, and many wonder ful 
family members and friends. He will also be sadly missed by his best friend, 
George Matthews. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 :30 p.m. at First 
Baptist Church, Bute Street, in Norfolk. Interment will follow in Calvary 
Cemetery. There will be a Wake service Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Graves 
Funeral Home in Norfolk.
