Norfolk - Clarence Filhiol of 2913 Earl Court died in a hospital.

A native of Monroe, LA, he was a son of John and Mrs. Ella Filhiol and the 
husband of Mrs. Lena Filhiol.

He was a member of First Church of God in Christ.

Besides his wife, surviving are four sons, Leroy H. Filhiol, Aubrey H. Filhiol,  
and Clarence J. Filhiol of Norfolk and Jesse H. Filhiol of Virginia Beach;  a 
brother, Jesse Filhiol of Los Angeles;  a sister, Mrs Essie Lee Dunn of Los 
Angeles;  14 grandchildren;  and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held in First Church of God in Christ by the Rev. David McPherson.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Graves Funeral Home had charge.
