Virginian-Pilot July 5, 1924
Melvin C. Fincher - Funeral services for Mr. Fincher were conducted yesterday at 
noon at the establishment of E. Lee Cox and Brother, 631 Westover avenue, by the 
Rev. Norman Taylor, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. There were many floral 
offerings and a large attendance. Pallbearers were Messrs. Joel Wood, L. O. Ayers, 
Ashby G. Davis, J. L. Meador, C. C. Ansell and J. G. Graham. Burial was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
