Finegan, aged 53, widow of John J. Finegan and daughter of the late Philip E. and Mrs. Mary Evich, died at 8:30 o'clock Tuesday night at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. P.H. Guard, at Greensboro, N.C. Mrs. Finegan was a native of Philadelphia and was a former well known resident of Norfolk. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. P.H. Guard and Miss Anne Laine Finegan, of Greensboro; one son, John J. Finegan, of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Bruce Colonna Guard, Lucetta Isabell Guard, Mary Frances Guard and John Thomas Guard; five sisters, Mrs. Nancy Laine, Mrs. A.R. Patrick and Mrs. Charles Credle, of Mackeys, N.C.; Mrs. Robert Bray, of Deep Creek, and Mrs. B.L. Dozier, of Norfolk; three brothers, Philip Evich, of New York; Frank Evich, of Camden, N.J. and John J. Evich, of Chicago; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services this morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ********************************************************************** Mrs. Isabelle C. Finegan — Funeral services for Mrs. Finegan, widow of John J. Finegan, whose death occurred Tuesday night at Greensboro, N.C., were held at 9 o’clock yesterday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk, with the Rev. T. P. Scannell officiating. The Rev. Paul V. Heller was present in the sanctuary. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Scannell paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of pink gladioli and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Services at the grave were conducted by the Rev. Paul V. Heller. The pallbearers were Frank G. Finegan, John Cullen, M. J. Mulqueen, Allan Bassett, M. J. Powers, W. J. Ralston, Frank O’Connor and Charles E.
