Mrs. Clairbelle R. Finney, of 916 Joyce street, Berkley, died at 3:35 a.m. 
July 13 in a Norfolk hospital following an illness of about two months.  
Funeral services were held July 18 at First Baptist Church, Berkley, with 
the Rev. J. C. Diamond, pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Finney was a member of Daughter Elks, the Roses of Virginia Tents, and 
the Dorcas chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors are her brother, George A. Robinson, of Los Angeles CA;  an aunt, 
Mrs. Susie Allen, of Boston MA;  and her stepfather, Daniel L. Brown of 
Norfolk.

Burial was in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery with Chatman's Funeral 
Home in charge.
