Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jun 22,1957

Mrs. Alice Fisher died June 11 at 6 a.m. after a long illness.  Funeral 
services were held at First Baptist Church, Friday, June 14 at 2 p.m. with 
the pastor, Rev. E. Paul Simms officiating.

She was a life member of St. James Lodge of Good Samaritans.  Her children 
are Robert, George, Joseph Sr., Laura and Mrs. Mattie F. Ross.

Relatives attending from out of town were Robert Fisher and Mrs. Mattie F. 
Ross of New York;  Joseph L Fisher Jr., St. Albans, LI, Mrs. Mary P Horsey, 
Baltimore MD;  and James Raby, Washington DC.


Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
