Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Riddick’s Funeral Home for 
David Fisher, 42, of 924 Goff street.  The Rev. H. T. Myers officiated and 
burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Fisher died Sunday at his home after a long illness.

He was the son of the late James and Mrs. Olivia Fisher.  He devoted a 
portion of his life to hotel work and before his illness was employed by the 
Virginia Ferry Corp.

A native of Norfolk, he was  a member of the Bachelor-Benedict Social and 
Beneficial Assn., and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving is a sister, Miss Bessie Fisher of Norfolk.
