CHESAPEAKE - Mary Brown Fisher, of the 400 block of Mapleshore Drive, a retired 
teacher, died July 15, 1987, in a hospital.

Mrs. Fisher was a native of Norfolk. She retired from the Norfolk public school 
system after 47 years, and was a member of the national, Virginia and Norfolk 
education associations.

She was a member of Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include two nieces, Russelle Walker and Florence Walker, both of 
Chesapeake; and a nephew.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Zion Baptist Church by the 
Rev. Joseph L. Roberts. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be 
placed in the church at 1 p.m. by graves Funeral Home. The family will be at the 
residence. Memorial donations may be made to the church's organ drive.
