Fisher of 2618 Harrell Ave., a native of Raleigh, NC, and the widow of George J. Fisher Sr., died Sunday in a hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street, and the Dorcas Club, Mary J. Brown Group of the Mamie E. Gordon Missionary Society, Do All We Can Club, and Senior Choir. She also was a member of the National Federation of Colored Women, Garden Club and Young Women's Christian Association. Survivors include a son, George J. Fisher Jr., of Norfolk. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by Dr. Robert G. Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale funeral Home in charge. The family will be at her home. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Thursday.
