The remains accompanied by her sisters and aunt arrived in Norfolk Friday evening. The funeral services were held in New York at Mt. Calvary A. M. E. Church, of which she was chairman of the usher board. On Sunday at one o’clock services were held at the First Baptist Church, Rev. R. H. Bowling, officiating. There was a profusion of floral designs sent from friends in New York, Philadelphia, and Norfolk. Rev. Bowling preached a wonderful sermon. The remains which reposed in a handsome oak couch casket were viewed by the large number present. Interment took place in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Fisher is survived by four brothers and three sisters: Mrs. Annie Jones, of New York; Mrs. Lenora Fisher, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Emma Scott Rowe, of Norfolk; Messrs. George, Reginald, Alonza and Venton Scott. She was the daughter of the late Nelson and Mary Scott.
