Norfolk-Miss Ethel Lee Fisher, daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Mrs. Mattie 
Lee Thompson Fisher, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday at 5:15 
a.m. at the residence, 911 Gate Ave. She was a member of Christ and St. Luke’s 
Church. 
Surviving her are three sisters, Mrs. Allen Bynum, Sr., of Portsmouth, Mrs. 
John R. Herrick and Mrs. Mattie Lee Fisher, of Norfolk; a brother, Carroll T. 
Fisher, and an aunt, Mrs. Maude Woodhouse, of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ and 
St. Luke’s Church for services tomorrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. The family will be at 911 Gates Ave. Apt. C-2.
