Virginian Pilot December 9, 1905

William E. Fitchett, who has been under treatment at St. Vincent's hospital, 
died at that institution yesterday morning in the 63d year of his age.  He is 
survived by a widow, four sons and two daughters.  The funeral will be 
solemnized from the residence of his son, W.J. Fitchett, 706 West Highland 
avenue, at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon.  The service will be conducted by Rev. 
Dr. A.J. Fristoe, of Park Avenue Baptist Church, Rev. T. J. Taylor, of the 
Queen Street M.E. Church and Rev. J.B. Merritt, of the Seamen's Bethel.
