NORFOLK — Mrs. Pearl Harris Fitchett, 86, of 3810 Llewellyn Ave., the wife of Dr. 
Marion S. Fitchett, M.D., and a native of Warren County, N.C., died Thursday in a 
hospital.
She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and the Garden Club of 
Norfolk.
She was an Army nurse at Base Hospital 41, Paris, France, during World War I.
She also is survived by a son, Dr. Claiborne W. Fitchett of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the 
Rev. Sidney C. Swann Jr. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments has charge. The family 
will be at 1418 Runnymede Road.
