James C. Fitchett

Norfolk-James Custis Fitchett 82, husband of Mrs. Ella Bishop Fitchett and 
son of Thomas and Mrs. Sarah Graham Fitchett, died at the residence, 3514 
Whitechapel Rd. Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank B. Cook of 
Norfolk, three grandchildren, Robert B. Cook and Mrs. Edward C. Turner, both 
of Norfolk, and Mrs. William R. Williamson of Victoria, Texas, four great-
grandchildren and a niece, Mrs. John Kelly of Norfolk.
Mr. Fitchett was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of Park Place 
Methodist Church and a charter member of Local 262, N. F. P. O. C.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Friday 
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
