Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, March 20, 1994 
Edward Oliver Fitzgerald of the 1000 block of Dubois Drive died March 17, 1994,
in V.A. Medical Center, Salem, Va.

He was a native of Norfolk and the son of the late Junius Venable and Rosa Epps
Fitzgerald. He was a social worker for the Department of the Interior and a
member of Grace Episcopal Church, Norfolk. He was a graduate of West Virginia
State University and also did graduate studies at New York University. He was a
Coast Guard veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two sisters, Vivian Brown and Mable Waller, both of Norfolk; a
brother, Milton E. Fitzgerald; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Church of God in
Christ, Norfolk, by Dr. Herman Clark. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Viewing will be at Riddick Funeral Service from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday. The family
will be at 1069 Dubois Drive.
