Norfolk - Mrs. Rosa Fitzgerald of 979 Albert Ave. died August 8 in a Virginia
Beach nursing home.

A native of Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of Addison and Mrs. Melissa
Epps and the widow of Junius V. Fitzgerald.

She was a Church Mother of C. H. Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ and a
member of Mother Board, Missionary Board and Prayer and Bible Band.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Olivia Holley, Mrs. Vivian Brown, and
Mrs. Mabel Waller of Norfolk, Mrs. Mildred Selden of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Alma
Bond of the Bronx, NY;  four sons, Junius V. Fitzgerald and Milton Fitzgerald of
Norfolk, Leon Fitzgerald of New York City, and Edward Fitzgerald of Washington;
 58 grandchildren;  36 great-grandchildren;  and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service.
