FITZGIBBON, aged 73, husband of Mrs. Mary Creagan FitzGibbon and son of Thomas D. and Mrs. Ellen Shanahan FitzGibbon, died at his residence, 811 Holt Street, yesterday morning at 4:30 o'clock. Mr. FitzGibbon was a native of Ireland and, for more than 60 years, a well-known and highly esteemed resident of Norfolk. For 20 years, Mr. FitzGibbon was a member of the Norfolk City Council and was active in political and business circles. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B. P. O. Elks. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, the Misses Ellen M. and Cecelia M. FitzGibbon, and a son, T. David FitzGibbon. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the residence tonight at 8 o'clock. THOMAS S. FITZGIBBON - Funeral services for Mr. FitzGibbon, whose death occurred Sunday morning at the residence, 811 Holt Street, were held at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. E. A. Brosnan, pastor, officiating. Present in the sanctuary were the Rev. R. B. Kealey, the Rev. P. P. Brennan, the Rev. M. J. Harrison, the Rev. F. V. Bambrick and Father Glarence, O. S. B. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, Father Brosnan explained the mass and spoke of the faith and hope of Mr. FitzGibbon, who was a pioneer member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. During the services, Vincent Smith sang Gounod's "Benedictus," and Mrs. Stark A. Sutton sang "Abide With Me," with Mrs. James Hughes, accompanist. There was a large attendance. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, pink roses and ferns. A delegation from Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B. P. O. Elks was in attendance. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Capt. Frank N. Holtzman, Col. Charles H. Consolvo, Capt. John M. Arnold, Maj. I. Walke Truxtun, William L. Prieur, Dr. Stark A. Sutton, John E. Milan, Lee F. Lawler, Hugh L. Butler, Capt. John I. Clark and N. B. Joynes. Active pallbearers were William J. Connelly, Bernard J. King, John T. Riley, John Joseph Baecher, Thomas J. O'Connor, William J. Walsh, Marcellus S.
