Mr. Fitzpatrick had retired from a civil service job. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Elks Lodge 38. He had served in the Army during World War I. Survivors include two sisters, Margaret F. Hebert of Norfolk and Sister Mary Regis of Baltimore and a brother, James Bernard Fitzpatrick of Norfolk. A Joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. Gerald Heffernan. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today in H.D.
