                  Fitzpatrick, 68, Ex-Norfolk Funeral Director

WASHINGTON - Edward L. Fitzpatrick, 68, former funeral director and embalmer on 
the staff of H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments in Norfolk, died Friday.
He left Oliver's in 1950 after 20 years service.
A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Katherine J. Fitzpatrick. 
Besides his widow, survivors also include a son, Edward L. Fitzpatrick Jr. of 
Norfolk.
The Rosary will be recited today at 7:30 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Chapel, 27th Street and Colley Avenue, Norfolk. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the 
American Cancer Society.

FITZPATRICK, EDWARD L. - In Washington, D.C., Friday, EDWARD L. FITZPATRICK, 
husband of Mrs. Katherine J. Fitzpatrick, in the 69th year of his age. The body 
will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church, 37th and Colley, today at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
