Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 19, 1954

Clarence Thomas Fitzpatrick, 54, husband of Mrs. Alice Willis Fitzpatrick and 
son of the late Joseph J. and Mrs. Sarah Johnston Fitzpatrick, died at a Norfolk 
hospital yesterday at 6:30 a.m.
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 1043 East Ocean View Avenue 
at the time of his death. 
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Joseph Thomas, Clarence Vincent 
Fitzpatrick and Oliver W. Grew, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Miss Regina R. 
Fitzpatrick, of Norfolk, Sister Mary Regis, of Richmond and Mrs. William 
Herbert, of Norfolk; four brothers, George V. Fitzpatrick, of Norfolk, Edward L. 
Fitzpatrick, of Washington, D.C. and Joseph and James B. Fitzpatrick, both of 
Norfolk; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments pending arrangements.

Clarence Thomas Fitzpatrick — Funeral services for Mr. Fitzpatrick, who died 
Sunday at a Norfolk hospital, were conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 
Ocean View, yesterday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Walter Gaughan. Present in the 
sanctuary were the Rev. M. J. Harrison, the Rev. Henry Magee, Father Urban Lux, 
the Rev. Vincent Campi and the Rev. Cornelius Sexton. Burial was in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. The pallbearers were Peter Martone, Fred Eiler, E. H. Mitchell, Joseph 
Baines, James Harrell, William Barry, Wilbur Henderson and Joseph Etheridge.
