Christine Norman Fitzpatrick, 78, of the 500 block of Parker Road, died Sept. 17, 
1993, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Fitzpatrick, a native of Creswell, N.C., was the widow of Joseph F. "Bud" 
Fitzpatrick. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia A. Evich of Frederick, Md., and Marilyn 
F. Post of Grandy, N.C.; four sons, Joseph J. Fitzpatrick , James V. Fitzpatrick 
and William G. Fitzpatrick, all of Chesapeake, and Farrell A. Fitzpatrick of 
Virginia Beach; two sisters, Evelyn Colubus of Clearwater, Fla., and Nellie Miller 
of Virginia Beach; one brother, Harold Norman of Columbia, N.C.; 12 grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren.

A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. 
A Christian wake service will be held at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk 
Chapel, at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the 
donor's choice.
