Balview Ave., the mother of City Democratic Chairman Joseph T. Fitzpatrick, died Tuesday in a hospital. A native of Williston, Carteret County, N.C., she was the widow of Clarence Thomas Fitzpatrick and a daughter of Alvin S. and Mrs. Ruth Wade Willis. She lived here 49 years and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Christ Child Society, Sixty-Plus Club of Ocean View, and Catholic Middle Age Club. Besides her son Joseph, surviving are two other sons, O. Wendell Grew of Daytona Beach, Fla., and C. Vincent Fitzpatrick of Norfolk; a brother, Capt. Harry Willis, and a sister, Mrs. James B. Macy, both of Morehead City, N C.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The Office of the Dead will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8:30. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at noon in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will be at 1227 E.
