NORFOLK — J. Bernard "Billy " Fitzpatrick, 76, of the 900 block of Gates Avenue, a 
retired planner and estimator, died July 24,1988, in a hospital.
Mr. Fitzpatrick, a native of Norfolk, retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was 
a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include two sisters, Sister Mary Regis Fitzpatrick, O.S.B. of Baltimore 
and Margaret Hebert of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. A wake service will be held today at 7 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk. The family will be at 832 Gates Avenue, Norfolk.
