John T. Flanagan died at his home, 204 Hamlin Avenue at 3 o'clock yesterday 
morning after a lingering illness in the 68th year of his age. The deceased had 
been a resident of Norfolk for forty years, where he was well known and highly 
esteemed. He is survived by a widow. The funeral will be held from the Park 
Avenue Baptist Church at 3 o'clock p.m. today, and will be conducted by Rev. J. 
M. Haymore of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church.
