Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, August 3, 1997 
Bernice W. Flemings, 94, died Thursday, July 31, 1997, in Beverly Nursing Home.

She was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church, Norfolk. She was predeceased by her
sister, Louise M. Bell of Norfolk.

Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews,
great-great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by
the Rev. I.W. Knight and the Rev. Clinton Archer Jr. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery . Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
the day of service.
