Margaret Floor, 75, of the 700 block of Gainsborough Court, passed away April 6, 
2004, in Norfolk.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Herbie Ballance and Irene 
Oreo Ballance. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Faretra and husband, Joseph of Chesapeake; a 
brother, William Ballance and wife, Diva of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Kathy 
Jacobson of Florida and Elizabeth O'Neill of Long Island, N.Y.; as well as three 
grandchildren, Vincent Faretra, Christopher Faretra and Katelyn Faretra, all of 
Chesapeake.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of 
Peace Catholic Church, Father Christian Haydinger officiating. The interment will 
follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Norfolk.

A Christian wake will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends 
until 9 p.m. at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Great Bridge Chapel, Chesapeake.
