Virginian-Pilot January 27, 1963
CHESAPEAKE - Jacob Ellis Flora, 65, son of John A. and Mrs. Mary Ellen Flora, 
native of Moyock, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk 64 years, died in the home of 
Mrs. Margaret E. Barnes on Route 3 Friday.
He was a guard at Norfolk Shipbuilding & Drydock Corp 12 years before his 
retirement.
Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home Monday at 
11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
