NORFOLK - Vernon Henry Flora, 57, of 1422 W. 49th St., died in a hospital, 
Thursday.
He was the husband of Mrs. Virginia Bashara Flora and a son of the late Isaac and 
Mrs. Rosa Murden Flora.
A native of Princess Anne County, he lived in this area all his life. He was a 
member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Chapel.
He worked for Lamberts Point Docks.
Surviving, besides his widow, are two sons, Vernon Joe Flora and Anthony B. Flora; 
two brothers, Claude L. Flora and Isaac H. Flora; and three sisters, Mrs. Louise 
F. Warren, Mrs. Hazel Mae Schiller, and Mrs. Dorothy Mae White, all of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Chapel for a Requiem Mass Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary's Cemetery. 
The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home tonight at 7:30.
