A son of Joseph and Mrs. Catherine Delmastro Flowers, he was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and a member of the Virginia Food Dealers Association and Economy Stores of Virginia. Surviving are a son, Nicholas W. Flowers Jr. and a daughter, Mrs. James T. Benton, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Whiting and Mrs. Charles Cinnamo of Coronado, Calif.; two brothers, Michael J. Flowers Sr. of Norfolk and Ned Flowers of Lynchburg; and eight grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30 . A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ******* FLOWERS, NICHOLAS WILLIAM, SR. - At a local hospital, Saturday, May 25th, 1963, at 8:23 a.m., Nicholas William Flowers, Sr., son of the late Joseph and Mrs. Catherine Delmastro Flowers, in the 51st year of his age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a funeral service Monday morning at 10 a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
