Norfolk - Mrs. Lizzie S. Flowers, 95, of 6400 Avon Road, the widow of Richard
Flowers, died July 1 in a local nursing home.

She was a native of Purdie and a former member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Hunter W. Goodman of Norfolk; and two nephews,
Kermit B. Washington of Norfolk, and Sherman Vincent of Los Angeles, CA.

A funeral was held July 4 in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. J. Jasper Freeman.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
