The Virginian Pilot Wednesday July 10, 1963
 Mrs. Charlotte Abbott Floyd, 33, of 1114 Chesapeake Ave., died Tuesday 
afternoon in her home after illness of two months.
A native of Irvington, N.J., she was a daughter of Mrs. Bernetta Lane Abbott 
and the late Walter Brittle Abbott and the wife of Henry A. Floyd Jr.
She lived in South Norfolk 30 years and was a member of South Norfolk 
Congregational Christian Church.
Besides her husband and mother, surviving are a daughter, Robin Lisa Floyd 
of Chesapeake; and two brothers, Walter B. Abbott Jr. of Wapello, Iowa, and 
Byron E. Abbott of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Graham Funeral 
Home by the Rev. W.A. Cousins of South Norfolk Congregational Christian 
Church.
