A. S. Floyd, of the Norfolk Police Division, died at a Norfolk hospital this morning at 12:10 o'clock. Besides her husband, she is survived by a brother, C. M. Gattis; a sister, Mrs. H. G. Ruth, both of Louisburg, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Floyd was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Betty Jones Gattis, a native of Chapel Hill, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for 52 years. She was a member of the Freemason Street Baptist Church and resided at 1217 Dinwiddie avenue. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 12 noon. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
