Virginian Pilot July 12, 1957
 
Thomas Clarence Flynn, 72, husband of Mrs. Betty M. Flynn and son of Michael T. 
and Mrs. Catherine Callan Flynn, died yesterday at 10:30 a.m. at the residence, 
501 22nd St., Virginia Beach.
Mr. Flynn was a native of Baltimore, Md. and had been a resident of this section 
for 35 years. He was a former employe of the Dalton-Bundy Lumber Co., retiring 
some years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, William F. Flynn, 
of Virginia Beach, one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth F. McClane, of Sanford, Fla., 
and seven grandchildren.
The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

NORFOLK — The body of Thomas Clarence Flynn, who died Thursday at the residence, 
501 22nd St., Virginia Beach, will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments to the Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, for funeral 
services today at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
