Mrs. Annie Evans Flynn, 56 years old, died Saturday night at 7 o’clock, at the 
residence, 2686 Fifth street, Lafayette Annex, after a lingering illness. She was 
the wife of John F. Flynn. While she was a native of New Bern, N.C., she had 
resided in this city for more than forty-five years. Besides her husband, she is 
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Watson, of Washington, D.C.; a son, G. O. 
Evans, of this city, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the 
residence tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock.

Additional Comments:
From her death certificate, her first name was Sarah and her maiden name was 
Dennin.
