Virginian-Pilot  June 3 & 4, 1923
Mrs. Sarah Ann Flynn, aged 56 years, wife of John F. Flynn, died last night at 7 
o’clock at the residence, 2686 Fifth street, Lafayette Annex, after a lingering 
illness. Mrs. Flynn was a native of New Bern, N.C., and had resided here forty-six 
years. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Watson, of 
Washington, D. C., and a son, G. O. Evans, of Norfolk, and by five grandchildren. 
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

FLYNN, SARAH ANN — At the residence, No. 2686 Fifth street, Lafayette Annex, 
Saturday, June 2, 1923, at 7:00 o’clock p.m., Sarah Ann Flynn, wife of John F. 
Flynn, in the 57th year of her age. Funeral services at the above residence 
Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
