NORFOLK — George M. Folker, 91, of 212 Colonial Ave., the husband of the late Mrs. 
Hazel Folker and a Savannah (Ga.) native, died Sunday in a hospital.
He was retired from Newport News Shipbuilding and had lived in Newport News for 34 
years. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Louise Spain of Norfolk.
A funeral will be held today at noon in St. Mary’s Cemetery by the Rev. Fr. Thomas 
Nee. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments has charge. The family asks that flowers be 
omitted and memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
