GLOUCESTER - Stella Ann Jones Folkes, 99, a retired registered nurse, died Oct. 5, 
1988, in a nursing home.
Mrs. Folkes, the widow of Edward Marvin Folkes, was a native of Orange County, Va. 
She was formerly of Norfolk. Mrs. Folkes was a member of Freemason Street Baptist 
Church, Norfolk.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Donald J. Dunlap. Andrews Funeral Home is handling 
arrangements.
