Funeral services for the late Rev. William F. Fonsville, pastor of the First 
Church of Christ Disciples, Berkley, who died Monday night of last week of a 
heart attack, were held Sunday, July 14, at Philippi Disciple Church with 
Elder B. Story of Courtland officiating, assisted by Elders R. W. Williams 
and E. T. Hobbs, the latter of Capron. Seven churches cooperated in the 
services. Interment took place in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Berkley. Wheeler’s 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Goldia Fonsville; two daughters, the 
Misses Marjorie and Katie Fonsville; three sons, Stephen, Clarence and James 
Fonsville, a brother, Kelly Fonsville, and one sister. (Mrs. Hattie L. 
Riddick, church reporter.)
