Mr. Fontaine, a Ridgeway, Va., native, was a retired owner of Bob's Palace after 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Vernice Fontaine; two sons, Robert Fontaine of Hampton and Jeffrey Fontaine of Norfolk; four brothers, Lorenzo Fontaine, Alonzo A.D. Fontaine and Ureece Fontaine, all of Eden, N.C., and Scott Fontaine of Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Graves Funeral Home by Father Walter Barrett. Burial will be in Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
