B14 NORFOLK - Funeral services for Serape Fontanillo, USN, who died enroute home at St. Mary’s hospital, Columbus, Neb., September 2, was buried on September 9 in Calvary Cemetery here, following funeral services at First Calvary Baptist Chapel at 2 p.m. The Rev. W. E. Keeling, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Josephine Scott read the obituaries and Mrs. Louise Dozier sang a solo. Mr. Fontanillo had been serving on the Pacific Coast. His body was accompanied by Chief R. L. Zahn. He was given a military burial. Mr. Fontanillo is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Fontanillo; one son Earl; a daughter, Miss Margie Fontanillo; a little grandson, Earl Jr., and other relatives. Additional Comments: Calvary Cemetery Name is spelled "Farntanella" no first name given, in the General Index. He is interred in Section 12, Lot 132, on the south half of the lot. We have his interment date in the general index as 9/10/45 and he is listed as being from Nebraska and being 41 years old.
