The Rev. Richard A. Councill officiated assisted by Bishop Joseph D. Cauthen, Elder Samuel Wilson. Mrs. Fonvielle, operator of the Southern Furniture Repair Company, died April 24 at Norfolk Community hospital. She was the wife of the late H. F. Fonvielle and was a native of Greensboro, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Wallace, Norfolk; two brothers, Dr. Clyde Donnell, Durham; and Dr. C. F. Donnell, Freehold, NJ; a sister, Mrs. Grace Lewis, Greensboro, NC, two grandchildren and a host of other relatives. Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Attending the funeral from out of town were Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Donnell, Durham; Mrs. Grace Lewis, Greensboro,NC, Mrs. Lillian Fonvielle, Savannah, GA; Mrs. Knox Fonvielle, New Rochelle, NY; Mrs. Lorraine Weaver, Durham; Mrs. Addie Donnell, Baltimore, MD; Mrs. D. F. Lane, Winston-Salem, NC; Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Kennedy; M. A. Sloan and W. M. Rich, Durham; and Miss Marion Knox, Princeton, NJ; and Mr. and Mrs. Antoia Onsot.
