Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, November 8, 1990 
Fletcher Foots, of the 7500 block of Fargo St., a janitor, died Nov. 4, 1990, in
a hospital.

Mr. Foots, a native of Franklin, Va., was a member of First Baptist Church Logan
Park. He was also a member of the Logan Park Senior Citizen Club.

Survivors include his wife, Irene G. Foots; four daughters, Doris F. Austin,
Violet F. Crawford and Kimberly Griffen, all of Norfolk, and Constance F. Royal
of Oxon Hill, Md.; three sons, Pernell Foots of Chesapeake, Melvin Foots of
Virginia Beach and Tyrone Griffin of Norfolk; 22 grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in First Baptist Church Logan
Park by the Rev. Boyd O. Moody. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body
will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Friends may join the family at
11 a.m. Saturday at 7525 Fargo St. for the funeral procession to the church.
Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
