Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, September 26, 1992
June Tyree Forbes, 71, of the 9500 block of Willow Court, a retired insurance 
agent, died Sept. 25, 1992, in a hospital. 
Mrs. Forbes was born in Richmond. She had retired from Insurance Management Co. 
She was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church. 
Survivors include her husband, Edward C. Forbes; a daughter, Carolyn F. McBride 
of Norfolk; a son, Ron D. Forbes of San Francisco; five grandchildren and a 
great-grandchild. 
A private graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery by the Rev. Daniel K. Ivey. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday 
in Miles Memorial United Methodist Church. Friends may join the family at the 
residence from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the church. 
Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
