She was the daughter of the late Acey and Susan Halstead Sawyer and wife of F.P. Forbes. Mrs. Forbes was a native of Shiloh, N.C. and had made her home in this section for the past 23 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L.R. Belangia and Mrs. Leon M. Jennings, both of Portlock; a son, Fred S. Forbes, of Portlock; a sister, Mrs. Pattie Riggs, of Elizabeth City, N.C. and a brother, Willie Sawyer, of Old Trap, N.C. Mrs. Forbes was a member of the Christ Sanctified Holiness Church, Brambleton. The body was removed to the Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, Ohio and Rodgers streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment will be in the Riverside Memorial Park.
